Good Evening Bulldogs. We would like to invite all Bulldog parents to our first ever school-wide parent meeting on October 22nd at 6:30pm in the Performing Arts Center. We have several fun things on the agenda and our parents will have the opportunity to provide input to better our school. Please bring an electronic device (phone, laptop, or tablet) so you can participate and learn about the new things going on at Oak Hills. We are also having the Boys Basketball Alumni game on October 22nd in the gym at 5pm (before the parent meeting). The cost is $4 at the door. We hope to see you all on October 22nd.

In order for your student to utilize their chromebook and student Gmail account, a parent or guardian must complete the Handbook/Parent Rights/Media Release using the link at the end of this message. This process only takes minute to complete but you will need your student's ID number to begin. Thank you all Seniors/Senior Parents who attended the OHHS Financial Aid Night on September 19th. October 1st was the start of the filing period for the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). This week, all Seniors received information about the FAFSA workshops being held in the Career Center. They also received information on how to complete the FAFSA. Oak Hills High School will be having our annual Financial Aid Night presented by our local four year college and our Bulldog Career Center on Thursday, September 19, at 6pm in our Performing Arts Center (the PAC). Important information about all about financial aid and scholarships for seniors will be available. We encourage all students to file for financial aid, no matter what their path is after high school (college, military or the world of work). Any questions, please contact the Career Center listed on our website.

We are excited to announce that Oak Hills High School is now offering late buses Monday-Thursday for students staying for after school tutoring and extended learning opportunities (No late buses will run on Fridays). The two buses pick up in the OHHS bus lane at 4:30pm and the route/stops are listed in the two attached images. Student must qualify to ride a bus and possess and HUSD bus pass to ride the late buses. We hope you and your students will take advantage of this great resource.

Welcome Back Bulldogs! Tonight, OHHS will be hosting an Open House from 4-6pm. Students will be able to pick up their class schedule, textbooks and chromebook. The Student Store will be open and will be selling PE clothes, ASB cards, and Yearbooks. At this time, the Student Store cannot accept card payments so purchases must be made with cash or check. PLEASE NOTE: Our teachers will not be on campus tonight. You can meet the teachers at Back to School Night on August 21st from 6-8pm.
