Dear Cedar Middle School Families,
Welcome back! I am thrilled to greet you as we start another exciting school year. It has been an incredible two years since I joined this wonderful community, and I am continually impressed by the amazing parents, students, and staff who make Cedar Middle School such a special place.
Together, we have built a strong and supportive learning community where students have proven to grow and thrive, and we show no signs of slowing down in our dedication to you. I am excited to continue our journey of academic excellence and social-emotional growth, and I look forward to seeing all the wonderful things you will accomplish this year.
It has been my absolute honor to help lead this school and be part of its culture, and I can't wait to see your bright faces and celebrate your successes. Let’s make this year our best yet! We hope to see you all at our back to school night on August 4, 2025.

If your student is registered at Cedar Middle School you can pick up your Chromebook and Purchase PE clothes. There will not be any Schedules handed out on these 3 days. Dear CMS Team, As we wrap up another incredible year, I want to take a moment to sincerely appreciate each and every one of you. Your hard work, dedication, and passion have truly made a difference, and the amazing results with our students are a testament to your efforts. Dear Spartans, As the school year comes to a close, we want to wish our 8th graders the very best of luck as they move on to high school! We are so proud of all you've accomplished and can't wait to hear about your new adventures. To our amazing 7th graders, we're excited to see you back next year — you're a wonderful group of kids, and we’re so proud of how much you've grown this year. We will host our annual Spartan Spectacular on Wednesday, May 28th in our gym. This event will ONLY be for students who received an invitation. Our 7th grade Spartan Spectacular will be from 10:10 am-11:28 am and 8th grade will be from 1:10-2:27 pm. Please park in our parking lot and walk along the parent pick up lane, located in back of the school, to the gym (follow signs). El miércoles, 28 de mayo, celebramos nuestro espectáculo anual Spartan Spectacular, en nuestro gimnasio. Este evento será ÚNICAMENTE para los alumnos que hayan recibido una invitación. Nuestro espectáculo Spartan Spectacular para 7º año será de 10:10 a.m. a 11:28 a.m.; y para 8º año será de 1:10 p.m. a 2:27 p.m. Le pedimos que se estacione en nuestro lote de estacionamiento y camine por el carril de recogida de padres, que se encuentra detrás de la escuela, hasta llegar al gimnasio (siga los letreros).

Our Jr. Interact club finished out the year by teaming up with the Foster Love organization to help foster kids. Most foster kids are given a trash bag to pull all of their items in. Foster Love has gym bags to decorate and fill with necessities and other items to help ease this process for kids going into the foster system. Great job Spartans! Nuestro club Jr. Interact cerró el año colaborando con la organización Foster Love para ayudar a los niños de acogida. La mayoría de los niños de acogida reciben una bolsa para guardar todas sus pertenencias. Foster Love tiene bolsas de deporte para decorar y llenar con artículos esenciales y otros artículos para facilitar este proceso a los niños que ingresan al sistema de acogida. ¡Excelente trabajo, Spartans!

If your 8th grade student is going to the Knott's Berry Farm Field Trip, here is some general information: The buses will leave promptly at 8:45 am. Do NOT be late. The buses are returning at 9:45 so please be at the school to pick up your student on time. The park is CASHLESS. They may bring food into the park, but their backpack may be checked. If a student misbehaves at the park and gets in trouble with Knott's security, you will have to come to Knott's and pick up your student. They will not be riding back on the bus with their classmates, so please remind your student to behave and follow the park rules.

On May 2nd, we hosted our 4th Annual Health and Wellness Fair at CMS. A huge thank you to all the organizations and teams that made this event possible. Your support and dedication helped make this event a success for our students!

Thank you La Familia Bakery, our local bakery in Hesperia, for the delicious pastries that you provided to our staff today for staff appreciation week. You guys are amazing and so is your food!
