Jerome Kaufer, Vice Principal
I am a graduate of Hesperia High and find it very fulfilling to now have a hand in the direction my alma mater takes as we move into a new decade. My wife works in the district as the Certified Athletic Trainer at Oak Hills and my son currently attends Cedar Middle. I moved to Hesperia in the late 80?s with my family looking for the small town feel the High Desert provided. Although education was not my first career, I always knew I wanted to work in public service and decided education was the avenue I would take. I enrolled at Cal State San Bernardino in my late 20?s, graduating with honors and earning my degree in Social Science with an emphasis in Economics. I then continued my education at Chapman University with a Masters Degree in Teaching and a Professional Clear Credential in Social Science. After teaching Economics and World History at Hesperia High School for the next 6 years, I decided to transition into an administrative role. I began the Masters in Administration program at Azusa Pacific University in 2007 and graduated with a MAE and Tier I Credential the following year. In 2009, I was fortunate enough to be hired at HHS by Mr. Schnebeck to join his administrative team. I am blessed to be working with the staff at Hesperia High and fortunate to have such a cohesive team of colleagues to work along side. I cherish Hesperia High School, its traditions, its accomplishments, its goals for the coming years, and most importantly the students and staff that make Hesperia High, the best high school in the entire High Desert.
