Career & College Resource Center:
Seniors! Tonight is THE night! The last FAFSA workshop! Show up to your CCRC anytime between 4:30 & 6:30pm and let's hit SUBMIT. It only takes about 30 minutes! W.W.W.FAFSA.GOV- that is: FREE Application for FEDERAL Student Aid. Here is a fact. If you don't do it, you will NOT receive a Cal Grant. Many students receive most of their tuition with Cal Grant through FAFSA! If you DO it, you very well may receive tuition for college, be offered work study jobs on campus, or be eligible for very low interest loans which ARE an investment towards YOUR future. Counseling:
Seniors! Are you interested in the ROP Cosmetology Program after graduation? Orientation will be May 8, 2012 at 3:30 pm at the Mojave High School Cafeteria. Please stop by the Counseling Office in A-7 for more information.
CLUBS
Peer Club:
Peer Club is still collecting gently used formal dresses, dress shoes, evening bags, and costume jewelry to donate to the non-profit organization “Rena’s Dresses.” Please bring them to any advanced peer counselor in the Counseling Office, room A-7. Rena’s Dresses will help provide prom dresses to young ladies throughout the high desert who otherwise can’t afford them during prom season. Help make a difference in a young lady’s life that would allow her to attend her senior prom.
Fishing Club:
HHS Fishing Club will meet TODAY, February 22nd at lunch in room N-25.
